PHYSICAL APPEARANCE NOTES About 5'6", with dark, scruffy hair and a pale olive-toned complexion. Italian. Extremely skinny, with permanent bags under his eyes. Even for folks without supernatural pings, he exudes creepy vibes. (And if you do have supernatural pings, well ... He's the half-mortal son of a death god, with all kinds of ties to dead people, the underworld, and shadows.) Always wears a dark aviator jacket with a skull t-shirt and black skinny jeans. He carries an empty black scabbard for a sword that's clearly gone missing since his arrival in court. Any plant life quickly wilts and dies in his presence.

As mentioned previously, Nico is the half-mortal son of Hades, god of the underworld. His main purviews are death, earth, and darkness, though like any good demigod he has a couple miscellaneous tricks too. He can typically tell on sight if you're dead or not (though if you're dead in canon but alive here, that'll vary - basically if you want him to know, then he will). The dead are also supposed to obey him, though again, totally up to whoever's playing with him if they want to do that. He has a very strong, distinctive aura that attracts a lot of attention, especially from monsters. tl;dr if you have any kind of pings at all, feel free to pick up on the fact that this boy ain't normal.
